I had never booked a Chicago Airport Car Service before. I’m not a business traveler.

When I go away on vacation, they usually drive myself to the airport or my destination. So, when planning my honeymoon, I decided to go ‘all in’ and book a limousine.

At the time, I didn’t think much about reliability, the actual vehicle, or anything else.

However, just before our honeymoon was set to take place, actually the day after my wedding, one of my closest friends asked whether or not I knew the company I had hired. They started talking about horror stories they experienced and heard about.

The limo was old, dirty, and broken down.

The driver was abhorrent, the limo was not comfortable at all, it was noisy, and he and his wife felt completely unsafe the entire time. They arrived at the airport tense and everything went downhill from there.

He also said that when they returned, there was nobody there to greet them.

I was nervous. I wasn’t sure what kind of car service in Chicago I had hired. I certainly didn’t want to Chicago charter bus because it was just my wife and me.

I did, though, consider a Chicago motor coach company because they advertised limo services, but when all was said and done, it turned out I was lucky. I had hired one of the more experienced companies out there and they monitored incoming flights so when my wife and I returned several hours late because of a mechanical issue.
